Here are the new Apple Intelligence features coming in 2025

Apple Intelligence will completely revolutionize the way we use Apple devices. The first artificial intelligence features from Apple landed on the iPhone with the release of iOS 18.1 in mid-October 2024. Shortly after, in December, Apple rolled out the final version of iOS 18.2 with more AI features such as Image Playground and Genmoji.

Recent reports suggest that Apple will introduce more new features for Apple Intelligence in 2025 through a major software update for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Below are the Apple Intelligence capabilities that will arrive next year.

Apple Intelligence features coming in 2025

Currently, Apple Intelligence services already include very interesting features such as Writing Tools, for modifying and rewriting text; Image Playground and Genmoji, for generating images and text; support for ChatGPT through Siri; notification summaries, Visual Intelligence, and Image Wand, among others.

Apple Intelligence is exclusively available in the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and South Africa, as it currently only supports English. The AI platform will launch in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries starting in April 2025.

Prioritize Notifications

Apple has already introduced notification summaries in Apple Intelligence, but so far, the ability to prioritize notifications is not yet available.

This new feature refers to a system that automatically displays the most important notifications at the top of the Notification Center, pushing less important ones to the background based on your device usage.

New Siri Features

Additionally, Siri has received a major redesign with very interesting improvements in recent iOS 18 updates, including better natural language understanding. However, in the future, other Apple Intelligence innovations will bring a Siri with personal context support, allowing it to better understand what we are asking by considering prior voice commands.

With the new Apple Intelligence features in 2025, Siri will have deeper integration with third-party apps. Last but not least, Siri will be able to recognize what you're viewing on your screen, enabling it to provide the information you need more efficiently. For instance, if you’re looking at a photo, you could ask Siri to send it to a contact.
